Directing Internship, Summer 2022

During the summer of 2022, I had the honor of being a Directing Intern at Santa Cruz Shakespeare under the leadership of Paul Mullins and his production of King Lear. Every aspect of this process cemented the belief that directing is rooted in joy for the work and understanding of the text, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity.

**Nominated for the following Broadway World SF/Bay Area Awards: Best Direction of a Play (Paul Mullins), Best Performer in a Play (Paul Whitworth, Derrick Lee Weeden), Best Supporting Performer in a Play (Paige Lindsay White), Best Play.
